One of my favorite historical figures is King David. He was a man who embodied many godly qualities but also had his earthly struggles. What sticks out to me is
something I desire to be that David was “A man after God’s own
heart.”
It was an honor for David that God acknowledged him as, “A man after his own heart.” When I look at this historical figure, David did so many other things, such as praising God continuously, being a brave warrior, loving his people, and being quick to humble himself before God which made him a historical figure I admire.
